2 Months Old
Eli and Hannah are 2 months old today! They have come so far and are doing quite well. In celebration of their 2 months they both slept through the night! Needless to say we were pretty excited about that, espeically Betsy since she got 6 full hours!
They will have their 2 month appointment next Tuesday during which we'll get their current weights, but are convinced that Eli weighs over 8lbs and Hannah is at 8 or just under. They are such a joy and are really starting to become more aware of their surroundings. Hannah is looking at the camera in some of the photos... already a face for the camera!

First Hike
Hannah and Eli had their very first hike yesterday! They did SUCH a great job and I am convinced that they had a great time. We hiked a short distance (1.4 miles) to a beautiful waterfall and had it all to ourselves for about 45 minutes while we had a little picnic. It was a gorgeous day and such a blessing to get out. The Smokies are such a treasure to have close by and I'm sure there will be many more hikes in their future!

First Trip to Lowes
It is almost a necessity for Booth men to make at least one Lowes trip a week, or in some cases, a day. Elijah had his very first introduction to Lowes today as we all made a family trip down to pick up a few items. As we were walking up and down the rows and rows of hardware Jonathan was giving Eli a run down on the store and all the things one would need to be a successful and thorough carpenter. Needless to say, Jonathan had a great time with Elijah!

Cuties
The outfit Elijah is wearing is out of season, but who cares! It's too cute! It is a hand-me-down and is just the right size for right now. So I took a few pictures of him in it. But don't worry, we did not attempt to take him out in the hot, humid Tennessee weather in this cozy over-alls set. He was comfortable inside the house with lots of air conditioning!
Day On The Town
It takes quite a bit of effort to get out and around, but I figure this will be our life so why not just work hard and make yourself do it. So we've taken the kids out and on this day we had a nice lunch and a visit with Mumzy at her real estate office. It's been such a blessing to have help so that trips into town are a little easier!
Daddy Time
It seems that 'Daddy' time starts pretty much from the time Jonathan walks in the door from work and lasts until the time he leaves for work the next morning. He's doing a great job and trades off night feedings with Mammy. He's great with the kids and is excellent at getting them to fall asleep - which makes me extremely happy!
